illuminated Railroad Lantern

This old lantern was once ran off a battery.I decided to make it electric.

After complete disassembly I wired in two small sockets.

Custom made a small plate to hold the antique shop light cage.

I also used an old lamp cord with a switch to operate the lamp.

Again all of the parts on this project are from my dads collection of junk.

I just could not let all these treasures go to waste.
