Vintage Style Pipe Lamp
In this Instructable I'm going to show you my take at a vintage style pipe lamp. This lamp is very easy and super customizable, making it a perfect decoration piece. You can arrange the pipes in any way you want so it can fit almost anywhere.
Materials
There are very few materials needed for this.
1 vintage style light bulb ($9.5)
1 clamp light ($7)
4 90 degree 1/2 inch elbows ($6.5)
2 4inch by 1/2 inch pipes ($3)
2 6inch by 1/2 inch pipes ($4.5)
1 1/2 inch base flange ($5)
The total cost is about $35, but it will change depending on how you want to make it.

The Layout
Now lay your pipes in the order that you chose. The way I put mine can be different from yours.
Light Preparation
Remove the unnecessary parts of the light, then you have to clip off the plug about 10 inches from the bottom. You will have to splice it back together later on.
Assembly
Get the end of the wire and feed it through each individual piece screwing the in along the way. I recommend only hand tightening so if you want to change it later on you can.
Mounting
drill wholes through whatever you are mounting it down to. I am using a box so I have to feed it through the box. Screw Dow the base plate, Then you splice the wires back together and you are done!
Conclusion
This is one of my favorite projects because of the low cost, easy construction, and customization.in the end i decided to put a bulb cage on to finish the look. I would recommend building this if you are in the market for a lamp. Leave a comment of what you want next or if you have any questions. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a nice day.
