Vintage Headphone Recable
This is a "part 2" to my last instructable. I replace the cable and add ear pads to a pair of WWII era (I think) headphones. This project only requires basic soldering skills.
My goals for this project were:
- Create a More Finished Appearance
- Make the Headphones More Comfortable
I found the cable on aliexpress for $2.10 and the strain relief plugs on eBay for $1.60 for a 10-pack. The ear pads used are not model specific but based on measurement of the outer part of the ear cups. They were purchased from eBay for $1.00.
Total Cost of Upgrades: Less than $5.00
