Video Camera Boom

I wanted to start doing some more youtube video's. I thought that a camera boom would be helpful. I can't justify the cost of a go pro or whatever so I am using a cheap china camera, and made this boom for a tripod I already had. Pretty simple project. the video is self explanetory . I ended up using an empty battery shell for the counter weight and will fill it with something to get the proper weight for the camera I'm using.
