Very Easy Zombie Makeup, Ready in Less Then 1 Hour!
Halloween is getting close and what is more scary than a zombie?! In this tutorial I want to show how I do my zombie makeup, using only a few products and in very little time. Prepare your zombie clothes in advance and wear them before doing the makeup.
Supplies
What I use for the zombie makeup are the following:
- contact lenses
- sponge for applying the makeup
- water activated face paint (very light color for the base and darker shades such as gray, brown for details)
- dark red liquid face paint
- fake blood
- small spray bottle with water
Base
First of all put on your contact lenses. You don't want to put them last or you will end up ruining the makeup and getting makeup in your eyes.
Spray the sponge to make it slightly moist and spray the light color to activate it. Use one side of the sponge to get the color and apply to your face by tapping with the sponge. Cover everything, mouth, ears and neck if they are visible.
Note: water activated makeup will dry very fast and you need to spray multiple times while doing the makeup.
Cheeks
Spray water on the darker colors and with the other side of the sponge collect some of it and apply the details to your face.
Start with the cheeks: Suck in your cheeks in so it is easier to follow the line and apply a darker color. If you want you can fill with the color until the jaw bone.
Forehead and Eyes
Still using the darker colors apply some dark spots on your forehead and under the eyes. Don't forget your neck and arms if they are visible!
Eyes
Using a q-tip, collect some dark color and draw an oblique line from the outer side of your eyelid towards the inner side under the eyebrow and fill in with the dark color. Repeat for the other eye.
Darkening
Using the liquid dark red color, darken up a bit the previously made spots and under the eye. You can use a q-tip for this and blend and smudge with your finger. I also smudged a bit of this color close to the nose to highlight the shadows.
Blood!!!
Finally, for the last details: blood!
Grab some fake blood with a q-tip and apply on the dark spots, around and on the mouth and wherever you like! you can add it under your nose or eyes, forehead and if neck and arms are visible, don't forget to add it there too!
You are now ready to scare some friends!
I hope you liked this tutorial and remember, you can play around with the makeup and find the style you prefer.
