-Fabric outer layer: .25 yards (tightly woven cotton or nonwoven material)

-Fabric lining: .25 yards (non stretch soft cotton)

-Bias tape: Extra wide

-Velcro: 10 inches

-PM2.5 filter

-Front main panel: Cut 1-2 depending on how many layer you want for protection. This can also be determined by how loose your fabric is. Just keep in mind the more layer the more protection.

-Front and lining bottom panel: Cut 1 outer layer fabric. Cut 1 lining fabric.

-Center lining panel: Cut 1 lining fabric

Hem Lining

-Mark the hem lines onto the lining panels.

-Both sides of center lining panel and only the inside edges of the lining side panels.

-Roll over and pin edge.

-Sew at .25 inch seam allowance.

Lining Peak

-Place the right sides together.

-Sew as close as you can to the edge.

-Trim the point close to the seam.

Front Main Panel Peak

(Repeat previous step on the front main panel)

-Place the right sides together.

-Sew as close as you can to the edge.

-Trim the point close to the seam.

Add Bias Tape

-You can use made bias tape, make your own bias tape, or bias tape attachment. All methods work.

-Place the wrong sides of the outer layer and lining together.

-Add bias tape to the top straight edge of the bottom main panel.

Add Twist Tie

-Slide the twist tie or other bendy metal object into the bias tape.

-Make sure the twist tie is centered in the bias tape.

Assembling Panels

-Place the wrong sides of the Center Lining and Front Main Panel together.

-Line up the bottom seams and top notch.

-Place the Bottom Main panel on top of the lining with right sides together.

-Sew as close as you can to the edge.

Bias Tape Back Sides

-Bias tape only the back sides of the Front Main Panel.

Adding Velcro

-Cut 4-5 inch strip of Velcro.

-Velcro will overlap so one strip will go on the outside and one on the inside.

-Place in the back center of the Front Main Panel.

-Sew along the outside of the Velcro.

Bias Tape Top and Bottom Edge

-Add bias tape to the top and bottom edge.

-Leave .5-1 inch at the start and end of each edge.

Sewing Off Ends

-With the remaining bias tape. Fold over the ends towards the inside.

-Tack stitch each corner.

Add PM2.5 Filter

-Last step is to add the PM2.5 filter to the inside pocket.
