Velcro Board for the Remote (And Other Stuff)
I lose things. It's my specialty. Do you lose things? Yes? Well, stop it!
Materials
-Sheet of Felt
-Velcro
-Thumbtacks
-Glue (I prefer hot glue because it dries quickly and comes off pretty easily in case you don't want velcro stuck to your remote forever)
-Scissors (not shown)
-Paper Plate (not shown)

Pin the Felt to the Wall
Use thumbtacks to pin the felt the the wall. The picture shows a thumbtack per corner, but I recommend adding some extra thumbtacks in the middle of each edge for stability.
If you want, you can glue the felt to some cardboard (use sturdy glue like gorilla glue) and hang the board on the wall instead. It's up to you.

The Pouch
I wanted to add a pouch to the board for things that were too small to velcro (or things that I didn't want to apply velcro to).
To do this, take your paper plate and cut it in half. Cut small strips of velcro (the more the merrier) and apply glue to the fuzzy side. Then glue the fuzzy side to the edges of the paper plate so that the prickly side is facing you. Stick that plate on your velcro board and put pencils or other stuff in it.

The Ever-Elusive Remote (and Other Things)
This step is easy. Take your remote (or whatever else you'd like to keep track of) and glue the fuzzy side of a velcro strip to it so the prickly side is facing you.
You're done! Stick whatever you want on your board. Enjoy.
