Vegetable Chicken Pasta

One-pot meals are a great way to feed the entire family. Vegetable chicken pasta is a meal my family enjoys so I thought I would share it. Its simple to prepare with just 3 main ingredients.

Supplies

Pot & Utensils

  • 1 Large pot
  • 1 Stir fry pan
  • 1 Noodle strainer
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Large spoon
  • 1 Spatula
  • Measuring Cups

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 - 2 pounds of chicken ( Chicken parts of strips)
  • 4 cups of elbow noodles (Any preferred noodle type)
  • 4 cups of mixed vegetable

Seasoning

  • 3 Tablespoons all-purpose seasoning
  • 2 1/2 Tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Cayan pepper
  • 1Tablespoonchicken seasoning
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 Cloves garlic

Ingredients

Preparing ingredients and tools. Measure out the quantity of macaroni and vegetable and meat needed.

Preparing Chicken

We will now need to prepare the meat. I used chicken however, beef, lamb, and pork can be used. If you appreciate a boneless meal then meat strips can be used, such as chicken strips or chicken breast. I had chicken parts on hand so it was used for this meal.

Prepare 1 and a half-pound of chicken, cleaning up the meat and cutting it into small pieces.

Preparing Seasoning

Preparing the seasoning for the meat, we begin with:

1 tablespoon chicken seasoning

1 tablespoon all-purpose seasoning

1 teaspoon cyan pepper

Half teaspoon sea salt

Seasoning Meat

The selection of seasoning is added to the meat and mixed in well o=untill evenly spread. Allow meat to rest for an hour to marinate.

Preparing Boiling Water

Add 15 cups of water to a large pot. The 15 cups of water should not exceed 2/3 of the capacity of the pot. Add 2 teaspoons of sea salt to the water and stir well.

Boiling Macaroni

Bring water to boil on high temperature and add 4 cups of macaroni. Cover the pot halfway and allow to boil for 7-10 minutes.

Boil and Strain Macaroni

Once macaroni has boiled on high fire for 7-10 minutes or until it has swollen to meet the level of the water. Remove the pot from the fire and drain the water from the macaroni using a noodle strainer.

Stir Fry Chicken

Add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil to a stir fry pot and allow the oil to heat. Add chicken to the hot oil and intermediately stir for 10 minutes on a high fire. Then allow the meat to cook down for another 10 minutes on medium fire.

Vegetable & Macaroni Mix

Then pot of macaroni is placed on a medium fire and 4 cups of mixed vegetables are added. Stir mixture together and add 2 tablespoons of all-purpose seasoning. Stir well and allow to cook for 5 minutes.

Adding Chicken

Add the stir fry chicken to the mixture of macaroni and vegetable. Add one tablespoon of soy sauce and mix well. Allow mixture to cook down for another 5 minutes on medium fire.

Now that we are all done, its time to dish and enjoy our one-pot vegetable chicken pasta. Well seasoned with very little oil. A healthy meal for the entire family.
