Vegan Leather Heart Pouch With Zipper

Salutations beautiful people!

This heart pouch was designed by moi. I work with vegan leather, specifically cork fabric.

To make a cork/vegan leather heart-shaped pouch you have to gather several materials.

1. 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of dark red cork fabric.

2. 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper for stencil

3. 4.5 x 11 inch sheet of red vinyl

4. Heavy duty sewing machine

5. Red thread

6. Scissors

7. A LOT of enthusiasm!

The second step is to cut the heart out of the the 8.5 x 11 inch sheet of cork leaving about a half inch of border space. Cut two hearts total.

In this third step you only need to cut the 4.5 inch strip of vinyl in half length-wise.

Sew your zipper to one of the strips of vinyl.

Sew the edge of the strip of vinyl with the zipper on it to the the first heart, bunching the heart flush with the vinyl.

Continue sewing the heart to the strip of vinyl then sew the second heart to the strip of vinyl.

Sew the last piece of vinyl to the heart edge.

Once both Heart A and Heart B are connected to the now single strip of vinyl, you have a heart pouch with zipper!
