Nail art design is something that is asked for by many clients in salons. The fingernail polish base colors are applied first and allowed to dry. In this nail art design, little pink flowers are on the pointer and ring fingers, with a heart on the middle finger.

Supplies

The supplies needed for this nail art design are:

  • base/top coat
  • cuticle oil
  • the actual polish
  • design tool or toothpick
  • nail file

Step 1: Your first step is to push back the cuticle after you apply just a tiny bit of cuticle remover on the back of the nail. Then you will take your tool and gently push back the cuticle. Then you should shape and file the nail.

Step 2: Your next steps are to paint the nail with your base coat. Then, you will wait for it to dry. After that, apply the color you like the best. Wait for it to dry, and if you need or want a second coat of that color, you may add it. Once finished, wait for it to dry completely.

Step 3: Your 3rd step is to find the exact spot you want your design. Once you do this, you can plan how you will do your design. Then, you can start your outline, filling it in the way you desire.

Final Step

Step 4: Your final step in the nail is to wait for everything to dry. Make sure you and your client are happy with the outlook on the design. When you have established that you both like it and look good, you may apply your top coat, and you are all done. Make sure everything is dry before adding the top coat, or it will smear.
