Vagina Hearts

These laser cut heart shaped vaginas were inspired by a photo of my brother advertising the Vagina Monologues. I made them for a Women's Day Party and they are great for decoration and photo ops. Access to a laser cutter is not necessary as these can easily be cut out with the stencil attached or simply printed out as a poster. I used construction paper and felt but these can be made with any materials.

Construction Paper

Chopstick or Pencil (to use as a holder)

VaginaHeartMultipleArtboards.ai has each part on its own artboard for a total of 4 artboards while VaginaHeart.ai has all 4 parts on a single artboard. Open one of the files on the computer connected to your laser cutter. Configure the laser cutter with respect to the material you are cutting. Once all 4 pieces are cut, glue the layers together.

Print out the following file and cut out the 4 parts. Use these 4 parts as a stencil for any material you like. Once all 4 pieces are cut, glue the layers together.

Print and cut out the file. The illustrator file is included in the case you want to make your own changes.

I chose to use a disposable chopstick for my holder but a pencil or any other rigid object will work just as well.
