We feed our cats Fancy Feast cat food.
I was surprised when I removed the label to find these beautiful gold cans.
I have been making candle holders and desk top items from them.
I used the lids for embellishments.
I also have been making things from beer bottles.
I used one of the Fancy Feast lids for an embellishment on the beer bottle vase.

With the pliers, bend the pull tab slightly so it fits the can and the beer bottle.
Glue the pull tab to the beer bottle,  following the instructions from the Gorilla glue bottle.
Glue the pull tab to the can following the gorilla glue bottle.
Glue the bottoms of the cans together.
Glue the small silk flower to the can.
Wrap wire around the beer bottle to keep the pull tab  tight until the can and bottle dry.

CAULKING THE CAN.

Place a stream of caulking around the can where it is sharp.
Dampen index finger and smooth out the caulking.
This makes a barrier to protect ones finger.

ALMOST FINISHED.

After the can and beer bottle has dried remove the wires.
You can add a silk flower to the bottle.
Place the pen in the pull tab part.
Insert the paper clips into the cans.
Place on your desk and admire your creation.
You might consider gluing a metal lid so you can use magnets.
