After seeing the contest announcements, I became very intrigued in trying to design my own droid. I love the franchise and I follow a few Star Wars accounts on Instagram, where I saw the initial contest posts. I had no prior experience with Autodesk, so I knew I would have to learn the program quick. I used Autodesk's learning courses and some YouTube series to help develop rudimentary skills; I wish I had more time to dedicate, but during the month of May I had to finish final exams for school and graduate with two degrees. Even though I had school, I still managed to rummage up some skills for the contest. I feel there might be some flaws in my design, but it was the best I could do with my vision from paper to computer. I know there are some extremely talented individuals who have more knowledge and time with the program, and I am excited to see who will have the winning droid. I am just glad I could participate and learn a new skill, of which I will continue to develop and utilize in the future. I also had a story that helped me really define the functionality of my droid. My favorite Star Wars planet is Hoth, and I noticed there were not many droids utilized on the planet. I wrote this for inspiration:

"Originally built for Hoth outposts, V14 has capabilities to trek inside bases and traverse through trenches of the snowy planet, but V14’s capabilities have been utilized in other systems like Tatooine that have sand dunes and sandy dwellings. The ability to travel on manmade ground and instantly convert according to the local biome floor is beneficial to V14’s main objective of collecting data on internal base conditions and base surroundings; such as weather patterns, tracks, wildlife(if any), and anything deemed suspicious or dangerous.

Slightly akin to mouse droids in its size, V14 has also been employed for stealthy surveillance of enemy trench forces and some biological escapades such as Krayt dragon lairs."
