This project is a utensil holder that can hold pencils, colored pencils, markers, crayons, and almost anything you can think of.

Supplies

For this project you'll need a cardboard base (must fit your rings and tubes), 4 plastic rings, 4 cardboard tubes, paint markers, paint, scissors, and hot glue.

Cut

You will need to take your cardboard tubes and your scissors. Cut your tubes to different heights so it can hold different utensils. Make sure the edge you cut is straight enough to sit up straight.

Sketch a Design (Optional)

If you want you can trace a design onto your rings. it could be any design like a city, mountain, or anything you can think of. I chose to do an ocean theme.

Paint Your Rings (Optional)

If you chose to do a design you can color it in with your paint markers. If you didn't do a design you can color it one solid color or leave it plain.

Paint Your Tubes (Optional)

Paint Your Base (optional)

If you want to continue the theme onto your base you can paint it a solid color or paint it and put designs on it.

Glue Everything Down

Place everything onto you base and position the rings into a pyramid and your tubes next to each other. When you get it how you like it glue it down till it doesn't move.

Final Touches

Finally, if there is any splotchy paint or strings of hot glue fix them to make them how you like it. Then put your utensils into the holder!
