Using Bucket As a Drill Holder

A Folgers Coffee bucket can be turned into a holder for a portable drill when you are working on a project and when you are putting it into storage it can be hung on a hook on your wall. With the addition of a handle made from a coathanger, drilling two holes and cutting out one notch, you can do this simple Instructable.
Everything That Is Needed for This Project

1) Folger's Coffee Bucket
2) Dewalt Portable Drill
3) Metal Rule
4) Metal Coat Hanger
5) Sheet Metal Snips
6) Pliers
7) Knife
Bend Coathanger Wire

Cut and bend Coathanger wire as shown in picture so that you have approximately 24 to 26 inches in total. Bend approximately 3 inches above ends where they will go through bucket holes.
Holes Are Drilled 1 1/4 Inches From the Top of the Bucket.

Holes are drilled 1 1/4 inches from the top of the bucket. The two coathanger wire ends are bent from the inside of the bucket through the 1/4 inch hole around the top and back through the hole again, eventually ending up 3/4 of the way up the outside.
Cut a Notch in Bucket to Fit Neck of Drill.

Cut a notch 1 3/4 wide and 1 1/4 deep to accommodate the neck of the drill as shown in picture.
Proper Position of Holes to Be Drilled in Relation to Notch to Be Cut.

Note that on one side of the Folgers coffee bucket there are two indentations so that the bucket can be grasped easy on one side with the hand. The holes for the coathanger wire are to be drilled 2 1/2 inches in from that side of the bucket. The holes are to be drilled 1 1/4 inches down from the rim of the bucket as shown in the picture. The notch to be cut out is opposite.
Drill Fits Snugly in Bucket.

Drill fits nicely in bucket with extra battery pack underneath.
Drill, Bucket, Extra Battery and Power Pack Fit Neatly Inside Dewalt Bag

Drill and accessories can be stored neatly on a flat surface when not needed.
Bucket Can Hang on Hook or Doorknob.
