First of all, we need to prepare the paper sheets. Therefore, we cut equally sized, square pieces of paper from an old book that we no longer need. For small stars, the squares can be 9x9 cm. Alltogether we will need five sheets of equally sized, squared paper.

Folding

Now we begin folding.

1.) First, we fold the first piece of paper in half to make a triangle .

2.) Then fold the two bottom corners towards the center. This creates a kite shape.

3.) Then the upper point of the triangle is folded downwards, so that another pointed triangle is formed.

4.) Then fold the two bottom corners towards the center again.

Sticking

1.) Take the glue and glue the two bottom corners upwards.

2.) You should have a boat like form.

2.) Then fold the paper towards the middle.

4.) The first point of the star is finished.

Repeating

1.) Repeat steps 2-4 for all pieces of paper.

2.) You should now have a total of 5 points of the star of the same size.

Finishing the Star

Glue the bottom corners of the 5 points of the star together so that you have a perfected form at the end.

There it is, your finished star. Congratulations, you've managed it! Now you can attach a string for hanging and hang the Christmas Stars on the tree or another plant. :-)
