Remove all the dirt and save it to put back into the pot if you happen to get one with dead flowers in it.

Use your scissors a knife to cut the plastic circle on the bottom of the planter

shown circled in green in the photo

Take your sponge or piece of thin foam and using the sizers cut a line half way down the sponge and 2 cuts at the end of your first cut

Take your plant ant separate it from the rest for easier sponge attachment

Spred out the sponge/foam and place on the top of the plant before the soil

Take your planter and hang it up

then take your plant with the sponge/foam on it and turn it upside down into the hole you just cut in the planter

fill with soil and water

Now you have to wait and watch

Painting the pot is optional, I just like to spice things up
