These steps will guide you through the basic procedure of uploading photos to your Facebook profile from your computer.

IMPORTANT NOTE: These steps assume that you have the Facebook Timeline profile layout. If you have the classic layout or the 2013 layout, then some steps may be different.

Edit Album Options

After you press Open, an album frame should appear showing the status of each of the files as they upload.

The album will be untitled by default, but you can change its title and description just by clicking on them and typing in new ones. You can also add a location tag and change the photo sorting in the top right corner. Also, if the photos uploaded need to be high definition, make sure the "High Quality" box at the bottom is checked so the full-size files get uploaded instead of smaller versions.

After the files finish uploading, you can add descriptions and location tags to each photo.

If you want to add more photos to the album, just click the "+ Add More Photos" button in the bottom left corner.

If you uploaded any of the files by mistake, you can remove them from the album individually. If you'd rather not upload the whole album, just click "Cancel" at the bottom of the frame.

After everything is ready, just press Post Photo in the bottom-right.
