Upcycled Soda Bottle Bird Feeder
- Materials needed: 2 plastic bottles (at least one with the divets in the bottom of it), scissors, exacto knife, hot glue gun, sharpie, 4 popsicle sticks, string
Cut the Divets Out From the First Bottle
- Using the exacto knife and scissors (or whatever is available) carefully cut the divets out of the bottom of one soda bottle.
- Be aware the plastic is particularly thick where the divets meet the center of the bottle
Making the Feeding Holes
- Using the previously cut out divets make 4 outlines around the outside of the other bottle
- Cut the holes out, while you are doing that make slits underneath the holes as well for the popsicle sticks to slide through
- put a few drain holes in the bottom of the bottle as well
Glue the Divets Inside
- Attach the divets inside the bottle you previously cut out
- glue 2 popsicle sticks to each other to make 2 long sticks
- once set slide the sticks through the slits you made
- Using the string make a hanger and you are complete
