Upcycled Jar Vase

My wife loves plants, we have too many plants in our house. She uses old food glass jars as vases and planters
In this instructable, I will share, how to upscale glass jars into vases. Simple steps that anyone can follow at home without the need of expensive equipment or tools
Supplies
- Old Glas Jars, any shape and size works
- Wood pattern Vinyl sticker
- Box cutter
- Measuring Scale
- Pencil
- Liquid Soap
- Hand Sanitizer
Cleaning Bottle
- Most of the glass jars have annoying stickers on them
- removing these are a challenge, in itself
- Soak the bottles in warm soapy water for an hour
- Using a utensil scrubber, peel as much of the label as possible
- Resoak the bottles if necessary and repeat scrubbing
- Sometimes the glue does not come off, use hand sanitizer to remove any traces of the glue
- Mark 1-inch lines on the back of the vinyl sticker
- Cut the strips using a box cutter
- Stick the vinyl strips at a gap as shown
- One can vary the thickness and gap between the strips
- And Vases are ready for planting
Planting
- Plant some creepers- water-based or soil
- Place them on shelves, balconies, walkways, living rooms etc
- Everywhere you go now brings nature close to you and a good decoration
