Unthinkable Theater
I made a small sized home theater and the reason why I picked this was to create a visual placed that not only me as a movie lover but for others as well the love movies can maybe get inspired to one day create a little home theater at their own place and the reason I created a home theater was because I am a person who LOVES movies so my first thought was to create a home theater that's comfortable. I created this visual/design as if it was at my own personal home whenever that day comes.
Supplies
The supplies that I used are:
- Cardboard
- Hot glue gun
- Paint & paint brush
- Styrofoam
- Popsicle sticks
Fusion 360
I first started my project on an app called Fusion 360. The first thing I did was start with the base and make sure all my measurements were equal from the base as well as the walls. Next, I started to focus on making the area and the outside area before starting to sketch out the inside of the room. After that I started to plan out what furniture should be added and visualized where each thing should be placed. Finally, I began to start creating all my furniture and placing it where I wanted it to be and started to create what I envisioned.
Creating It
I first started with gathering all the materials I needed to make this happen, so I went on to get cardboard, popsicle sticks, a hot glue gun, and paint. Once I had all my materials, I began to scale my measurements from Fusion 360 onto the cardboard and started cutting each part for my base and walls. Second, I started to paint the pieces that I cut out, and once that was finished, I began to start hot gluing them exactly how I had them on my Fusion 360 project. After that I began to make the furniture, like a couch, TV, and shelves, and painted those as well before hot gluing them. Once they were finished drying I began to hot glue them onto the base and onto the room that I would consider a home theater.
Photos
For this final step I had to take some photos of what I had created; thankfully, we have a class that is learning about photography and designing different things and were able to help guide us to take some photos. We got paired up with someone, and they began to teach us where it would be best to have the lighting and the best angles to show our whole project to be shown as one. After the photos were taken, I cropped them and made them as best as I could and uploaded them in this project as you have probably seen and liked!
