just something I put together quickly.

I show how to make a stencil in my other instructable

you will need:
-a stencil
-paint ( I find that acrylic works best)
-a work area
-a surface to paint ( in my case, a ukulele)
-a sponge
-some tape

tape the stencil to the surface you wish to paint. I would suggest that you use masking tape. Unfortunately, I only had some cellotape, but it's something? :)

put your paint out, and get a small amount on the sponge. gently dab it on the stencil. remember to dab and not wipe. this will help keep the paint in the stencil, and give it a neat look overall.

Gently remove the stencil when the paint is dry. try to refrain from taking it off when the paint's still wet, because it will easily smudge and ruin. after that. sit back. relax. and kick out some rad tunes on your personalised uke! :D
