Uber Gooey Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
My house mates and I were craving some delicious cookies and so I decided to make some delightful chocolate ones. I thought if I added Reese's minis to the mix it would really up the ante because there would be a nice peanut buttery surprise in every cookie; best decision of the day (and it was a pretty good day of decisions since buckeyes were made later).
The cookies turned out extremely moist and gooey. The first plate of them were gone within a few hours.

Ingredients
- 2 cups AP flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks), softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Reese's Minis
- Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
All the Mixings
First of all, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt; then set it aside.
In a large bowl, add the butter and sugar. Beat the two together with a mixer until it's fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.

Combining the Goodness
Very carefully and slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Make sure it is mixed well.
Add the entire bag of Reese's minis and stir in the dough with a spoon. This may seem very laborious, but you want the peanut butter cups to remain whole. Add in however many chocolate chips your heart desires and mix them into the dough as well.

Finishing Them Off
Drop the dough onto a greased cookie sheet (I used my silicon baking sheet). You can make these whatever size you want--I opted for a bigger size because I hate making several batches of cookies. These will spread though, so make sure you space them out well.
Bake 8 to 9 minutes (mine took longer because our gas oven is on the fritz right now). The cookies should be soft and they will puff up a lot while they are baking, but they will flatten out as they cool.
You must wait for these to cool a bit on the cookie sheet before you try to move them, because they will fall apart from all their gooeyness.
That's it! Now enjoy those tasty cookies before everyone else does!
