Where did the idea come from? Most of the ideas come from the Covid 19 situation. In some countries covid aren't getting better. So we built a UVC disinfection robot to help people sanitize their house.

The Circuit and Material

Materials I used:

2x Micro:bits

1x Micro:bit Gamepad

4x DC motors

4x Mecanum wheels

6x Led lights

2x AAA Batteries

1x Robot bit board extension

6x AA batteries

1x Stepdown 5v/3a

1x Relay module

1x 3d printed holder on top

1x Acrylic base

The circuit in the picture shows how is each part are connected together. It also show us most of the materials we use in the robot.

How it work

When you press the up button, the robot will go forward. If you press the down button the robot will move backward. If you press the left button the robot will turn left. If you press the right button the robot will turn right. Also the x button is for turning on the light and the y button is for turning off the light. For right now we are using the LED light instead of the real UV light because the Uv light is very effective on your eyes and skin.

The first picture is the program of the robot and the second picture is the program of the controller.

​Things to Be Careful of This Robot.

Things to be careful of this robot.

No one should be looking or staring into the light if it is the real UV light. If it has the UV light on you should be far from the robot so that the UV light would not hit your skin.
