Hello everyone,

My name is Michalis and this is my first attempt to make an instructable!

This is an instructable for a uv exposure box(actually a UV-A exposure box)!!!

UV exposure is used for reasons such as:

1)curing loca glue(repair touchscreens!!)(need a little bit more time than flurecent tubes)

2)cleaning water from bacteria(better with uv-c)

3)hand dryers(new dryers that flow air and emmit light to dry your hands after washing them)

4)photoresistive pcb`s making(one of the best ways for making photoechant pcb`s)

5)nail uv gel curing

Special caution should be given to the fact that uv light is harmfull for skin and eyes(no to such low exposure, but it is better to be carefull after all!)

ohh, and do not forget to make stickers like these in the photos to warn people about safety and uv light!

the ballast has one ''input'' and one ''output'' it does not matter how you will connect it, so our power (the phase..the one cable ) goes to the on-off switch and then from the switch a cable goes to the ''door'' switch in order to protect ourselves when the ''door'' is open!

Now,from the door switch a cable goes to the ballast and from the output of the ballast we take a cable to the lamp holder.

now we have the other cable(neutral) that goes straight to the lamp holder.

Finished...

this switch opens and closes with the door ,as you can see when door is closed(i did it manually here) the lamp goes on!!!this is my uv exposure box...

thank you very much for your patience and your time

pm:i know that my intructuble is very poor,i hope to fix this soon...
