IN THIS PROJECT WE ARE GOING TO BE MAKING A SMART DISINFECTANT BOX USING ARDUINO to DISINFECT ANY OBJECTS LIKE CASH AND PEN , MOBILE PHONE ETC....

WHY I DID THIS PROJECT

  1. WE ARE DISINFECTING OBJECTS USING SPRAY OR ANY OTHER HARMFUL MATERIALS AND POLLUTING THE WORLD
  2. BY USING SPRAYS WE THROW THE METAL BOTTLE AND IT MAY HARM THE ENVIRONMENT

ABOUT UV REGIONS

It’s a part of the electromagentic spectrum. Ultraviolet rays are classified into 3 different wave lengths

• UV-C from 100 nanometers (nm) to 280 nm

• UV-B from 280 nm to 315 nm

• UV-A from 315 nm to 400 nm

THE STRONGEST RAYS ARE PRODUCED Y THE UV -C REGION

WORKING PRINCIPLE

UV CARES PROJECT

When the button is pressed , the system turns on. The UV LED starts glowing. The rays from the UV LED disinfects the object placed inside the chamber. It has a automatic cut off and the buzzer alarms when the sterilization process is over. I HAVE UPLOADED THE WORKING VIDEO PLS MAKE SURE TO WATCH IT

CONCLUSION

Due to its user friendly approach and the low cost involved, this appliance/project can be implemented successfully for everyday use.

COST EFFECTIVENESS

The product’s cost estimates around 1400-1500 rupees and has high durability which makes it affordable by common man.  

IMPROVISATION IDEAS

 The system can be added 555 timer (integrated circuit). Using this, the users can set time for the disinfection.

 The lid sensor can be added to the lid of disinfection box. This ensures that the disinfection process only happens when the lid is closed.

It can be powered by solar.  

HOW THE PROJECT CAN BE USED

FOR TWO YEARS THE WORLD WAS SHOCKED WITH COVID 19 AND WE TOOK PRECAUTIONS LIKE WEARING MASK . BUT WE DID NOT TAKE ANY PRECAUTIONS OF DISINFECTING PUBLIC THINGS LIKE NOTES WHICH ARE CIRCULATED ALL OVER AND VIRUS CAN SPREAD. THIS DEVICE CAN DISINFECT NOTES AND MOBILE PHONES . IT IS A USER FRIENDLY DEVICE.
