USB TO 12-V CONVERTER (Part-2)

I had received my boards from LIONCIRCUITS. As you can see in the images above the quality of their boards is great.

SOLDERING THE COMPONENTS TO BOARD

I have hand soldered all the components using a soldering gun which was sourced locally. Hand Soldering of SMD components is a bit tricky which can be done only on prototype boards. For production machine soldering is recommended.

In the above images, you can see the final assembled board.

TESTING OF ASSEMBLED BOARD

Just connect the assembled board to any USB port on the laptop.

Measure the voltage between the points marked in yellow as shown below using a multimer.

The multimeter shows 12 v reading between those points.

This module is portable and can be used in a variety of applications.
