Two Swans a Swimmin'

I had forgotten I had picked up an origami making kit as a project for when our grand kids would come over to visit. Of course with the Covid-19 and staying in for the past year we haven't been able to see them. So I pulled the kit out just to make this Instructable! The instructions aren't real clear but I was able to figure out how to make 2 matching swans. I think they turned out quite nice and that my grand kids will be impressed when we get to see them.....very soon! Here are the directions so that you can make swans too!
Supplies

The Origami kit which included:
instructions
2 (6-inch) squares colored paper
4 eyes
4 feathers
I also needed:
plastic mat
glue
glitter (optional)
scissors
The Directions

The directions are not really easy to follow but with patience you can figure it out.
Fold #1

Fold down the center then fold each side in to the center.
Fold #2

Make 2 at one time if you would like a set. Fold each side in again.
Fold #3

Make a crooked fold as shown about 1/3 of the way down.
Fold #4

Fold the top down forming their heads.
Glue the Eyes

Glue 2 eyes onto each head to make it look like a face.
Glue on the Feathers

Glue one feather on each side of each swan's body.
The Finished Swans

I think the swans came out quite cute for my first try! I know my grand kids will enjoy seeing them and they will want to join me in making my next origami project!
