Two Skies, One Light

FQAB8OMMAQT6X9T.png

A visual effects scene capturing how two people under the same sky feel connected by light—no matter where they are.

Concept

Start with the emotional core: two people in different parts of the world, but connected by the same sun and moon. At sunrise in one place, it's sunset in the other. The colors of their skies blend—one person's light subtly echoes the palette of the other's sky. The concept embodies emotional warmth, longing, and cosmic connection through lighting design.

Lighting Design

Concept for the renders:

Soft volumetric lights for sky glow, with RGB gradients based on real sunrise/sunset palettes.

Point or area lights in each room that reflect the other’s sky (e.g., warm evening tones glowing subtly inside the morning room).

Add bouncing rim lights that softly outline each character, giving a “halo” that hints at the presence of the other.

Conclusion

Even when miles apart, the same light touches both people. Lighting doesn’t just illuminate—it connects. Through this project, light becomes a quiet language of love, memory, and presence.
