Twix Apple Jell-O Salad

With summer being right around the corner, the days are getting longer and warmer; a salad is something that just hits the spot. This isn't your ordinary salad because it so happens to be sweet, fluffy and of course not healthy. Don't let the fact that this isn't a healthy salad scare you away because this salad is perfect for when it is hot outside and you just want a sweet treat without heating up your house. The green apples and Twix bar really complement each other well and if you have children then they are in for a treat. Ingredients and Tools

Ingredients

  • 1 (5.1 oz) box of instant Vanilla Jell-0 pudding mix
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 (16 ounce) container Cool Whip
  • 3 large Granny Smith Apples
  • 1 (11.4) ounce bag of miniature Twix candy bars (about 20 miniature bars)
  • 1/4 cup caramel syrup

Making the Pudding

In a bowl, combine the buttermilk and Instant vanilla pudding and beat for 2 minutes, or until fully combined and thickened.

Adding in Cool Whip

Fold in the 16-ounce container of Cool Whip, until fully combined.

Peel and Dice Apples

Peel all Granny Smith apples. Dice up the Twix bars and Granny Smith apples into bite size pieces.

Fold in Twix and Apples

Fold in the Twix pieces and apple bits into the pudding mixture. Make sure everything is incorporated well.

Refrigerate and Enjoy!

Refrigerate until ready to eat. Drizzle with caramel sauce for garnish. Enjoy!
