In this instructable I'm going to show you how to make these twisted rings. Once you've got the hang of it, it takes only five minutes to make one!

What Do You Need

What do you need to make this

- a round object matching the size of your finger. For me, the inside of a lip balm works perfectly
- wire
- pliers

The Wire

Cut the wire. If you want to make a two-coloured ring, cut two colours of wire at the same length. Twist them a little bit in eachother as shown.

Starting With the Base

Take your round object. Working with both sides, wrap it around two times. Make them turn around eachother to 'lock' the shape. Now you can take it of the base and try if it fits.

The Twist

If it fits, put it back on the base. This makes working a lot easier. Start turning the wire around. And around. And around. When you like the size of the circle, move along to the next step.

The Last Pieces of Wire

You can work the wire away by 1. wrapping it underneath the circle and cutting it of or by 2. wrapping them around the ring. These are the two teqniques I used for the two rings shown, the first for the coloured ring, the second for the silver coloured ring.

That's It!

It's finished! Hope you enjoyed it and.or found it usefull.
