Twist Stick
This stick will make it easier for you to spin a juggle ring without hurting your arm. Also the handle provides a better grip. So once you get the rhythm, you'll be away with it!
Supplies
- an outer and inner tube (made of a sturdy material)
- a handle
- a stopper
- foam that clamps the inner tube (but still allows movement)
The Inner Tube in the Outer Tube
Find a tube about 8 mm in diameter and a tube into which it can slide (about 15 mm). Both tubes should be made of a sturdy material so they don't break down when we use them.
Then hang the foam around the inner tube. Make sure there is just enough foam hanging around the inner tube so that it can still slide into the outer tube. There does need to be enough tension so that the inner tube doesn't just fly out.
The Handle
Now slide a handle you find comfortable over the outer tube. Fasten it securely to the outer tube so it cannot fall off.
The Stopper
Look for a soft material that will not easily slip off the inner tube. Make a cavity with a diameter smaller than the inner tube itself in it. That way, the stopper is secure enough and cannot just fly off. If the stopper would strain too much, you can sand the cavity a little.
