Turn a Motor on Using a Slide-Switch

I made it so that you can turn on a DC motor using a slide switch
Supplies
DC Motor without an encoder, A 1.5V Battery, A Breadboard, And A Slide-switch!
Attach the Switch to the Breadboard

to do this, insert the slide-switch pins into row j and into column 1, 2, and 3.
Connect the Battery

to connect the battery, run the ground to the first pin(terminal 1) and the positive to the 3rd pin(terminal 2)
Connect the Motor

to connect the motor, run a wire from pin 3 on the slide-switch(common) to the motor positive and run a wire from the motor terminal 1(pin 1) to the motor negative.
