Supplies
All you need to recycle a chip packet into a super cool pencil case is:
- The chip packet
- duct tape
- a zip
- clear plastic contact (usually used for covering books)

Preparing the Chip Packet
Carefully cut open the chip packet at the top and empty the contents.
Wash the packet to remove any left over crumbs and chip residue.
Dry the packet thoroughly.

Covering the Packet
Cut the chip packet along the bottom edge and the centre seam line where the zip will be.
Cut a piece of plastic contact to a the size of the chip packet.
Carefully stick the contact to the chip packet using a ruler or book to avoid air bubbles.

Adding the Duct Tape
Apply duct tape to the entire inside of the chip packet.
Sewing It Together
Begin by sewing the zip to the middle cut of th chip packet.
Then, turn the pencil case inside out and sew the top and bottom seams.

Finished!
Turn the pencil case back so the outside is facing out and you are finished!
