Trucker Hat Redo
When this gurl hits the thrifts, she sees all sorts of new trucker hats.
It didn't occur to me until yesterday that I could do somethin' cute with one.

This is what I started with.
Brand new, never worn trucker hat with advertisin' of some sort.

I pulled out some fabric I recently found and went to stitchin.
I discovered the easiest way to do this is to make a pattern for the center piece of fabric.
I accomplished this by folding a piece of paper in half and cutting it in an arch down the longest side. Then I cut it until it became the right size.

I used the pattern to cut out the fabric.
I opted to keep the frayed edges of the fabric and hand stitched it to the hat.
Then I added a bit of lace and a crocheted flower I made.
It's a pretty quick project.
You certainly don't have to stitch the fabric to the hat and can use spray adhesive or fabric glue.
10-4 Good Buddy!
