Tropical Mimosa Recipe
I love juice-y alcoholic drinks, and since it is summer, I thought I'd make a tropical mimosa. What's nice about this is you can substitute the wine (or champagne) for sparkling juice for people who don't want alcohol or for the kids! This tropical mimosa will hit the spot on a warm summer morning!
Ingredients
Ingredients:
- Mango Nectar
- Pineapple Juice
- Orange Juice
- Alcoholic Version
- Champagne
- Dry Sparkling Wine
- Non-Alcoholic Version
- Sparkling White Grape Juice
- Sparkling Apple-Mango Juice - or any sparkling juice
Supplies:
- Something to mix juices in
- Champagne glasses - you have to be fancy!
Mix
First, you need to mix your juices together. You can use whatever proportions you want, but here is what I used.
- 1/2c Mango Nectar
- 1/2c Pineapple Juice
- 1/4c Orange Juice
Once you have your juices mixed, you need to mix your Mimosa. I used Paige's recommendation to use a 50/50 ratio of sparkling drink to juice and I poured my sparkling drink in the glass before the juice.
Serve
If you want to be classy, use champagne glasses. If you don't care, use whenever you have around!
You can also garnish it with sliced pineapple slices if you want to be really fancy.
