\This mat also makes a nice lanyard

I used 8' of 3/16" cotton cord to make the mat. It measures 5" each side.

Middle your cord and bring working end (WE) to form a overhand loop..

Bring WE over to the left.

Bring WE to make another loop and up under the standing end.

In turn take the WE and the SE around the mat parallel to the adjacent cord.

When mat is completed tie each end to the adjacent cord of the mat with a constrictor knot. Then trim the ends.
