Travel Tic-Tac-Toe
Tic-tac-toe, I'm sure you played it and more than likely liked saying you clicked on this Instructable. Personally I enjoy tic-tac-toe but don't like having to get a piece of paper and make a board with a marker. If you are playing long enough you will eventually run out of room and you might not even have a marker/pencil and paper on hand. That is why you should make this travel tic-tac-toe. With the travel tic-tac-toe you don't have to have anything like paper or a writing utensil and you can play as long as you want. You can also just hold everything in the altoids tin making it very transportable.
Supplies
- A white piece of paper
- A piece of cardboard
- Masking tape
- Super glue or hot glue
- Exacto knife
- Black Pen
- Altoids tin
- Buttons
- Scissors
Clean Out Altoids Tin
Clean altoids tin by removing all the mints. Then wash out dust as well as possible or until all sticky residue is gone.
Cut Out Cardboard
Cut out rectangular cardboard piece that can fit inside the altoids tin. You don't need exact measurements as long as it can fit inside the tin. The paper I used to help cut the cardboard was used to get the straightest edge I could because that is what I personally wanted but the way you cut your cardboard is up to you as long as it is rectangle.
Cut Out Tic-tac-toe Board
Once again the size of the board is up to you as long as it fits on the cardboard. You can just take a sharpie and draw a board on the cardboard but I decided to cut out a piece of paper, glue it on, and drew the board in the paper. After the board is made super glue or hot glue the cardboard to the inside of the altoids tin.
Find Tic-tac-toe Pieces
I used buttons of the same color I found in a bag of buttons but if you wanted to pretty much anything that fits on your board can work.
Box for Pieces (Optional)
Get your cardboard and make 6 rectangular/square pieces by cutting them out of the cardboard. After that get the masking tape or any type of tape and tape every piece together besides the piece you want to be the lid. When you have finished taping everything you can get the on piece you didn't tape and
