Transistor Radio Upgrade
Do you have an extra transistor radio collecting dust in your closet? This will give a new life your old radio!
Get Your Supplies.
1. transistor radio
2. larger speakers (optional)
3. scrap wood
4. glue
5. drinking straws

Remove the Guts From the Transistor Radio.
Build a Wood Box.
Your radio may be different, so take note of the size of the circuit board when building your box.
Install the Guts in the Wood Box.
Install Battery Pack on the Back of the Radio.
The original battery pack had three batteries but the larger speakers require more voltage.
Add Larger Speakers. (optional)
I used four inch speakers.
Glue Drinking Straws to the Dials to Extend Them.
Trim Straws and Glue on Dials.
You're Done!!!
