Take a minute and look at your problem. Once you know what you need to solve start brainstorming and taking measurements to get to a solution. I measured my towel roll and considered how I was keeping it and where I was storing my towels.
Cut Your Parts Out
This step for me was cutting all my parts out I need to construct my towel caddy.
Gluing Your Parts Together
For me I at this point I started gluing my parts together. I started one section at a time and glued it all together so I didn’t miss anything. Take your time to line up everything, this give you a clean craft and solid finish. I made sure to keep note of all moving parts to make sure NOT to glue them so they function as needed. For me I have a layer sandwiched in the middle of both ends on each side so the spindle that holds the towels can key into and spin freely with
Construct Your Caddy
With all my individual parts complete it was time to construct the finished caddy. I glued my sides and my cross supports together and threaded my spindle through both ends. Then added my end caps for the spindle. For me I did not glue my spindle to my frame or to my end caps, this allows for easy towel replacement in the future.
Put Your Towels on and Step Back to See How You Did
This is the end point I put my towels on and inspected my work. Now I have dust free towels.
