Hello everyone, this is my first project on Instructables! I'm playing a Guitar for almost 2 Years. One of my Idols is Dave Grohl who was the drummer of Nirvana and now He is a singer and Rhythm Guitarist of Foo Fighters. I watched a lots of drum solos, videos and I just wanted to learn HOW TO PLAY DRUMS! Drums are too noisy and I'm living in an apartment. Actually I've got no money for the drums :(. So I thought that If I make a Capacitive Drumsticks I could play on my Sister's iPad! So I did it, here is how I made it:

What Do You Need?

Most of you have these things in your house:
-2x Wooden Skewers (You can use anything like a pen, if you are comfortable with it)
-2x Aluminium (as a conductive)
-Ear Stick
-Tape
-Scissors
-Utility Knife

(You can always change the materials if you are comfortable with it as I said before)

Cut the Tape

Cut the tape into 2 pieces. One of them is 2/3, the other one 1/3.

(Don't mind the book, I don't have cutting board and I don't want to make scratch on my Mom's desk! :))

Cut and Glue the Earstick!

Cut the head of the earstick and glue it or use a tape to attach it to skewer.

Roll It!

This was the hardest part of the project for me. It was hard to roll it with aluminium.
So be patient!

Tape It!

I used the small tape(1/3) which I cut at the beginning. Tape it in circular way.
(You can check out the video on YouTube if I could not describe it, sorry I'm not native speaker)

Do It Again!

You need to do it again If you are not Rick Allen! :)

Before Playing!

You need to make earsticks wet to make them conductive. You can use any liquid like water.
I'm using screen cleaner liquid because I'm cleaning the screen while I'm playing, GENIUS! (If I want to use water, I need to go to kitchen then fill a glass with water then comeback ahh looong way, spray is easier :))

Now Let's Get Rocked! \m/
