Fire Torch

Hi! So this is my first Instructable. I wanted to do something special for my first, so I decided to do this.

I'm going to try to do other Instuctables like Legos, Weapons, Cool Projects, and random things.

Well, here we go.

Materials

So I had wanted to do this for awhile so I gathered the Materials.

You will need:

A Thick stick or small log,

4 Small drawer handles or anything similar,

4 Small screws,

A Sharpie Marker, (optional)

A Paper towel,

A Tub of petroleum jelly,

A Lighter,

And a Power drill.

P.S. I am not responsible for any injury YOU may cause.

Preparing the Log.

First, drill a hole in the end you want the fire to be.

Then take a nail and hammer it in the hole you just drilled.

P.S. I forgot to take a picture before I put the handles on.

Putting the Torch Together.

Now you take the marker and draw dots where you want the handles to be. Then take the screws and screw the handles on the end where you drilled the hole.

Making the Fuel.

Now take the paper towel and saturate it in petroleum jelly.

Then you take out the nail in the end then hammer it back in with the paper towel on the end.

(sorry for the fuzzy picture)

LIGHT IT!!!

Now, take the lighter and your torch, go outside, and LIGHT IT!!!

but before you do, make sure you have a bucket of water because

YOU CAN NOT PUT IT OUT BY WAVING IT AROUND!!!

I'VE TRIED AND IT DID NOT WORK!!!

One more thing, its a good idea to put vegetable oil on the fire end so you don't accidentally light the log on fire.

See Ya!!!
