Tooth Fairy Pillow

A tooth fairy pillow is a fun way for children to greet the tooth fairy! Place the tooth in the tooth pocket on the front of the pillow and the tooth fairy will replace it with her gift.
Download the pillow and pillow pocket patterns. The pillow pattern prints on multiple pages and will need to be taped together. Match up the letters on the various pattern pieces and tape along the dashed lines.

Cut the Fabric for the Pillow

Using a pencil or mark-b-gone pen, trace the tooth pattern on double layered white fleece fabric and cut leaving a 1/4” seam. Note, pattern does not include the seam. Be sure to trace on the wrong side of the fabric., A mark-b-gone pen is recommended for white fabric since pen marks tend to bleed through white. Mark-b-gone pen marks can be washed off with water.
Stitch the Tooth Pillow

With fabric right sides together, stitch the pieces leaving an opening to reverse and stuff. Reverse right side out. Stuff with polyester stuffing and stitch the opening closed.
Create the Tooth Pocket

Pin tooth packet pattern to single layered fleece or felt fabric and cut leaving no seams.
If desired, create the face on the tooth pocket.
First, mark the outline of the eyes and smile onto the tooth pocket fabric. Tip: poke holes along the smile and at the point of the eye on the paper pattern using a large needle. Place the paper pattern on the fabric and mark a tiny dot threw each hole using a pencil. Backstitch the mouth with embroidery floss. Stitch in the eyes.
Hot glue or stitch the tooth pocket to the center of the tooth pillow leaving the top open.
Prepare for the Tooth Fairy!
When your little one loses their tooth, tell them to place it in the tooth pocket and leave the pillow on their bed. Replace the tooth with their loot once they fall asleep!
