Have you ever wanted to have a storage/display like they have in hardware stores?  I know I have. This instuctable is to show you what I did to obtain such a display and I must say, it makes using my tools so much easier.
I bought a Porter Cable combo kit from a hardware store and for what I paid for it, I didn’t want to just though all the nice new tools in the bag that it came with and hide my investment.  When I bought my mobile workbench it came with a metal grid shelf for the bottom. However I did not want the shelf because I wanted to use the bench as a desk. I held the shelf against the wall and thought, “how awesome it would be if I made this into a tool storage display”.
Some of the materials you might need :
1/8th weld able steel – as many as you might need.
Heat – for creating the bends
CAUTION: HEAT IS HOT, IT WILL BURN YOU.
Nails – 2
Piece of wood – 1
Clamps
Hammer
Pliers – to help make bends
Ruler – for all your measuring needs.
