Toilet Paper Slippers

Stuck in the house but really want some new slippers? Look no further! I will show you how to turn some toilet paper tubes and junk cardboard into some surprisingly comfortable slippers! Not only do they look out of this world, but they are incredibly easy to make!

Unit of Carboard - I used an Amazon box, but you can use whatev's

6+ Toilet Paper Tubes - the empty carcass of a once proud and glorious roll

Glue - I used some contact cement, worked great

Trace out a shoe like shape, I snatched up my girlfriend's flop and traced out a slightly bigger rendition. You will need to make at least 4 of the same shaped pieces to build a pair of slippers. If you cut out extra, you can add layers of padding and make these even more comfortable!

Judges take note! I use the -TUBES-

Grab those empty tubes and flatten them out! For my design and foot size, I used one roll in the middle(outside) and one on each side (sliding into the middle) total 3 rolls per foot! I didn't use glue but that's probably not a bad idea.

Now I bent these around a bit and got them nice and soft. I wasn't able to take a picture of next step, but...

I held the toilet strap around me foot and placed the soul on the bottom of said foot. I would them hold the pieces together and quickly make them with a sharpie.

Blast a thick layer of glue all over the marked side

Put some glue on corresponding other sole pieces.

Sandwich the strap between the two cutouts - maybe use brick or something?

These things actually came out awesome! Much much better than expected!

They are comfortable and still holding up after 2 hours of use. All in All, it only took me about 15 minutes to make these bad boys and I couldn't be happier with the result! I think I'll make some more for the fam and decorate em' with the kids. A super fun, useful, craft project that costs nothing! Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy,
