Hey guys! Here are some tips on building your own knex lift! Hope you enjoy and comment for questions!

Designing a Lift

Make sure you have a design down and build it right otherwise it will turn out different than what you expected to build. Its good to have the exact idea and design. But if you think of an idea and build it differently, thats ok!

Chain Lift Design

IMPORTANT: Make sure the chain lift works properly, or else it won't work. PLEASE TEST BEFORE YOU HOOK UP ANY OTHER PARTS SO THAT YOU KNOW THE LIFT WORKS!

Stabilization

Be sure to make the lift super stabilized so it doesn't break when the ball enters the lift mechanism.

Motor

Make sure that you have batteries in your motor. Also be sure to not have too much "heavy material" on your motor otherwise it will "stall" to carry up the ball.

Lifts That Involve Flexable Rods

If you don't have the actual knex ball and instead have a rubber ball and you are using flexable rods like the green lods ( grey rod length), make sure to test the machine and see if the rubber ball will make the lift.

Multiple Balls on a Lift

If you put too many balls into one lift, something will happen. Make sure that the ball lift has separations to separate the balls from one another, otherwise, it will fail!

Thats All Folks, for Now........

If I think of other things, I will update this. But until then byyyyeeeee!
