I have created a small and efficient room with multiple space saving utilities.

Supplies

I used Autodesk and a 3d printer

How to Create the Floor:

Screenshot (3).png
  1. Create a sketch for a rectangle with dimensions of 4 in by 2 in
  2. Extrude the sketch by 1 in
  3. Create a sketch in the middle of one of the larger faces with dimensions of 3.5 in by .5 in
  4. Extrude the sketch inward by 1.75 in to create a hollowed out rectangular prism
  5. Create a sketch composed of three rectangles. The first one will be nearest to the hole in the larger rectangular prism, it will have dimensions of .68 in by .33 in. the second one will be in the middle and have dimensions of .66 in by .66 in. The last one will be at the back and have dimensions 1 in by .66 in.
  6. Extrude the sketch by .5 in
  7. Create a sketch on the opposite side of the rectangular prism from the stairs with dimensions of 2.25 in by 4 in
  8. Extrude the sketch by .25 in
  9. Create a sketch with dimensions of 4.487 in by 4 in on the opposing side of the hole
  10. Extrude the sketch by .25 in
  11. Create a sketch of a square with its right most corner being .694 in from the back wall and 1.02 in from the side wall. Its dimensions are 1 in
  12. Extrude the sketch inward by .15 in
  13. Fillet all sides of the hole by .05 in

How to Create the Bed:

Screenshot (4).png
  1. Create a sketch with dimensions of 3.438 in by 1.75 in
  2. Extrude by .188 in
  3. Create a shell on the top of the rectangular prism with a thickness of .1 in
  4. Create a rectangle in the middle of the shell with dimensions of 3.1 in by 1.1 in
  5. Extrude by .375 in
  6. Fillet all sides of the prism by .125
  7. Create two rectangles near the top of the of the prism with dimensions of .45 in and .35 in
  8. Fillet each prism at .025 in
  9. Create two rectangles on the thirds of the long side on the shelled prism with dimensions of .306 in by .2 in
  10. Extrude by .1 in
  11. Create a rectangle on top of the prism you just created. Dimensions of .194 in by .05
  12. Extrude backwards until there is a hole through the prism
  13. Fillet the front and back of both prisms by .025 in

How to Create the Shelf

Screenshot (5).png
  1. Create a 1 in by 1 in square
  2. Extrude by .5 in
  3. Create 4 rectangles, from top to bottom, .35 in by .8 in, two at .15 by .8, and one at .1 by .8
  4. Extrude backwards by .45 in
  5. In the first compartment create a sketch with three rectangles, the first one will be .366 in by .112 in and positioned near the back left corner, the second one will be attached to the first one and have a dimension of .268 in by .077, the third one will be right next to the second one and have dimensions of .366 in by .091 in.
  6. Extrude the first one by .25 in, extrude the second one by .2 in, extrude the third one by .27 in.
  7. Create another sketch next to the first one. Make a rectangle with dimensions of .367 in by .094 in.
  8. Extrude by .24 in
  9. On the back of the wall create a diagonal rectangle with dimensions of .359 by .07
  10. Extrude by .365 in
  11. Fillet the left and right edge of the extrusions by .0125 in
  12. Create a rectangle on the middle shelf with dimensions of .312 in by .415 in
  13. Extrude by .0625 in
  14. Create a rectangle on the second lowest level with dimensions of .314 in by .477 in
  15. Extrude by .125 in
  16. Create a rectangle on the bottom layer with dimensions of .310 in by .543 in
  17. Extrude by .0625 in
  18. Fillet the top edge of each of the three rectangles you just created by .15 in

How to Create the Chair

Screenshot (6).png
