I like to make origamis.

In particular the Orizuru because this is the more traditional origami and it is not so hard to learn.

And I like to make tiny things too.

So lets try to make a tiny Orizuru...

Supplies

A square sheet of paper (I used a mini mini size 4,0 x 4,0 cm - about 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches).

You can find a pack with a bunch of square sheets of paper for origami at stationery shop.

And if you need some help a tweezers too.

You can find a lot of detailed instructions on how to fold a traditional origami crane and the story behind this traditional origami on the internet.

This is a sequence of photos showing the crease and folds needs to make the Orizuru (Folded crane).

But I thought of going a little further...

So I cut the mini paper and made four squares of 2,0 x 2,0 cm or about 3/4 x 3/4 inches.

That is roughly the size of a penny.

And made the same creases and folds to make a tiny Orizuru.

Of course it needs more patience and dexterity but it can be done.

And You Are Done

And there are the mini and tiny versions together compared to a penny.

Looks like a dad and son don't you think?

Can you try to go even further?
