Tiny Doodie Bags for Your Tiny Dog

Little dogs make little poops. It's a fact of nature. If you want to be a decent human being, you want to clean up these leavings when you're out and about.

Meet Freddy. He likes sleeping, eating food and taking long(ish) walks. On those walks, he sometimes leaves something behind.

These alternatives to Styrofoam packing peanuts are being used more and more often these days. If only someone could figure out a use for them after their initial use of shipping protection is complete... Hmmm...

Usually, these bags are perforated so that they can be pulled apart easily. Separate each bag.

Once your bags are all separated, use a small knife to poke a hole at what you are going to consider the "Top" of your bags. I prefer to have the top be the end with the loose plastic, that way, when I cut it off, it will be a nice clean bag without any fringes.

Now that the bag is devoid of air, find something to put under the bag as a cutting surface and use the knife to cut the top off of your bag. Make sure that the end you cut off is the end you cut the slit in. Otherwise you will do a crappy job of cleaning up the dog mess.

That's it. You're all finished up. Now you just need to take care of the rest of the bags from the package. Now, it's time to do the rest.

One tip I can give you to save some time is to think of it like an assembly line. Separate all the bags, poke all the bags and then cut the tops. It took me about 5-10 minutes to process 13 new bags. These are great because they can easily fit in a pocket and you're ready if you need to go out with your little dog and forget to grab bags on the way out. Have fun on your walkabouts with your pooch and clean up after them. Remember, it's your Doodie.
