TinkerCad Twisty Earrrings
These are fun earrings that make a good statement. The main part goes where the hole in your ear is and the twisty part goes up your ear. The diamonds add some fun to them too! They are little enough that you could wear them with everyday outfits or for more formal ones. They don't require a second piercing, so if you like the look of 2 earrings, but don't want to get your second piercing, these are perfect for you!

Step 2: Make a New Design
At the top left, click "Create New Design"
Step 3: Add a Big Diamond
Now its time to start building! On the right side of the plane, in your basic shapes, scroll down and find a diamond. Drag it out to the plane. You don't need to do anything with its size or placement yet.
Step 4: Add a Hole Cube
In your shapes, there should be see through looking cube, rather than the traditional colored one. Drag the see through one out onto your plane and set it directly on the plane. Bring the diamond up so it can sit on top of the cube and just a bit of the top part is sticking out. Then, select both of the shapes but hitting SHIFT and clicking on each one. Then, at the top right, hit the group button and the bottom part of the diamond and the cube should disappear.
Step 5: Add a Bunch of Smaller Diamonds
Bring out another diamond onto your work plane and size it down so its a lot smaller than the other diamond. (QUICK NOTE: make sure your big diamond is lowered so it's sitting right on the plane, along with the smaller diamond) Duplicate the diamond multiple times so you have enough to go around the big diamond. You can duplicate them so its easier to make them all the same size or you can keep bringing out more diamonds and sizing them down. TIP: adjust your snap grid to 0.1 so the diamonds are easier to place around the big diamond.
Step 6: Add the Squiggly Lines
Over in all the shapes, scroll down until you find the shape titled "Scribble" Drag that onto the plane. Click on the scribble and it should bring you to the drawing board. Draw a squiggly line. Make sure it has a bit of a tail on each end, and has big enough arches but not too big. Once you like how it looks, click "Done" and it will bring you back out to the main plane. Size it down so the height is only 1. Just remember, it doesn't have to be perfect and you only have to make one :)
Step 7: Another Squiggle!
Click on the squiggle that you just made and duplicate it. From there, flip it so its basically the opposite of the first one. Next, drag it down so they are intersecting. The arches of the squiggle need to be big enough so there is a bit of negative space between the lines. If there isn't, you can always redo it. Then, click on both of them by holding down the SHIFT key and clicking on both of the lines. Then at the top click the group button. Lastly, you are going to want to grab the squiggles and drag them over so they meet with the diamond circle. Refer to the final pics for what it should look like, but you just want them intersected a bit.
Step 8: More Diamonds!
Bring out another diamond and size it down so it's even smaller than the ones you used to circle the first one. Bring it up so it can sit on top of the squiggle. Move it so it IS sitting on top of the squiggle. Duplicate the diamond and start making a line of them on the squiggle. You can space them out as little or as much as you'd like. Do the same with the other squiggles
Step 9: You Don't Like the Shape? That's Ok!
At the end of this project, I made all the diamonds a bit taller and skinner so they aren't intersecting as much, but still touching. If you don't like the shape of anything on here, that's ok! Make it your own. You could even use stars instead of diamonds or another fun shape. Hope you enjoyed making these!!
